In 2014 we were appointed by the client, Woodlands Care Group, to provide the post planning construction drawings and technical assistance to develop a 52 bedroomed dementia care facility in the conservation area of the town of Westhoughton, Bolton.

The facility provides much needed specialist care for its end users with many bespoke features above and beyond a standard care home.

Leading on from this project, we were also appointed from inception to handle the rebuilding of a Listed public house into a separate sheltered housing apartment scheme adjacent to the main car home site forming 16 apartments with a warden’s accomodation.

The project was completed in 2016 and is now in the ownership of a larger carehome company.
